Howard joined FD Solutions in 2006 and since then has built on his wide variety of skills and experience to provide strong financial management to businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Howard has worked with clients in his specialist areas of financial and professional services, property and construction. He has also assisted a number of charities over the past four years and in 2010 became head of our charities and not-for-profit team.
Many of his roles have involved reorganising finance departments and improving their effectiveness. He reports regularly to boards of directors and trustees and is highly effective in communicating financial information and assisting with the development of strategic and operational plans.
Governance is a key concern for trustees and Howard has contributed to the development of internal controls and the assessment and mitigation of risks.
An effective financial modeller, Howard has provided key information to management so that they can understand the financial impacts of their business decisions and adequately resource their business growth.
Prior to joining FD Solutions, Howard spent two years as FD of a construction company assisting with the growth of the business and dealt with all its financial needs including the raising of finance, establishment of an overseas subsidiary and transitions arising from the manufacture and importation of key components.
With some 20 years experience in the profession, within a big-four firm and as partner of a medium-sized practice, Howard has a broad range of skills including strategic planning, business planning, financial modelling, tax compliance & planning, systems implementation, business acquisitions and financial analysis & reporting.
Howard has day-to-day responsibility for the running of the London office.
