We are the Accountancy Age Small Firm of the Year
I know you heard from me quite recently but I must tell you that we have won the Small Firm of the Year award at the Accountancy Age Awards, the industry’s ‘Oscars’.
The judges noted our 60% compound annual growth rate in the past four years and praised our business model in which people are employed, rather than franchised or sub–contracted. They work in an independent environment, where they can make their own decisions, supported by a mentor, someone to turn to when problems arise. This “grown up” approach leads to low staff turnover and an effective operation which enables us to meet a client within 24 hours of the initial contact and service them properly thereafter. Some companies use us for many years, others for specific projects lasting 3–6 months.
Although the award was presented to me I consider that it is very much a team effort. None of us achieves very much on our own, and even individual athletes like Rebecca Adlington always pay tribute to the team around them. I do too, and would extend that tribute, in our case, to all of you who have worked with us or referred work to us over the years. Thank you. It’s your award too.
May I wish you a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year, truly.
Malcolm
