Client backed by private equity
The Money Gaming Corporation is a Camden-based internet gaming company run by Liad Shababo, a dynamic entrepreneur who founded it and obtained an initial round of private equity funding in 2004.
The company required a sophisticated set of projections covering the next three years and comprising cashflow, profit & loss account and balance sheet. Persuading investors of the potential of your business can be frustrating if you don’t have the numbers to back it up.
Integrated projections prepared by us
The client called in Simon Walters, whose spreadsheet model formed the basis of the finances in a presentation made to City institutions by Liad and other members of the TMGC board. The first iteration was prepared in less than a week and then discussed with the client and fine-tuned speedily into a final version.
User-friendly format
Our work included integration of equity injections, marketing spend, player numbers and retention rates, and used graphs and tables to demonstrate various sensitivities and key issues.
Liad Shababo, chief executive, commented:
Continued involvement
We maintain an ongoing working relationship with TMGC, liaising with its directors and external advisers on issues including VAT, offshore tax status, and its ambitious expansion plans. The company doesn’t have a full-time FD, giving us the perfect opportunity to provide a broad range of advisory services to this exciting business venture.
