Its primary market specialises in smaller companies, both domestic and international, representing a wide range of sectors and all stages of development. There are currently some 180 companies quoted on the primary market with a combined market cap of over £2.4 billion.
Efficient trading model
PMG’s secondary market trading platform is based on a quote-driven trading model, which they consider the most efficient and effective system by which shares in small and mid-cap companies may be traded. Market-makers commit their own capital to the market, playing a key role in providing both price formation and liquidity.
FD Solutions helps with planning and forecasting
Following a call from Simon Brickles, former head of AIM before becoming PMG’s CEO, we were delighted to get involved and help to bolster their finance function at a time of rapid expansion. Several staff from FD Solutions enjoyed a number of weeks at PMG’s HQ in the City working on business planning and forecasting with this fast-growing client, and we look forward to remaining involved when other projects arise on which we can assist.
